Although the anti-SPAM filters on the mailbox used for handling messages within a temporary email address (temporary email address) are turned off, it may happen that a certain message does not arrive. In such a situation, there is likely something wrong on the sender's side. However, as the administration of the QuickAlias.eu service, we also block some messages, especially when they are bulk messages that could threaten the stability of the service.

Temporarily blocked services

Due to numerous abuses (mass creation of accounts, which are then quickly blocked for non-compliant activities), we are temporarily blocking all messages from: Facebook, Instagram.

A temporary email address is a service that allows you to receive email messages without providing your real email address. It's a virtual inbox that enables, among other things, receiving free products without signing up for newsletters or placing your data in the sender's database. Another function of this service is to use the generated address for conducting tests, for example, when configuring services and forms during their creation. The service of temporary email addresses often goes by names such as temp mail, temp email, temp e-mail, temporary address, temp mail, 10-minute email, 10minutemail, throwaway email, fake mail, spam mail.

Although the operation of the QuickAlias.eu service, which allows users to use the provided email aliases, shares some features with a standard email service, it is not a postal service (electronic mail service).

The aliases allow you to receive messages sent to virtual email addresses offered within the service (temporary email addresses), but features such as support for attachments are not available.

You also cannot send messages from the provided addresses (aliases). This applies both to sending directly from the QuickAlias.eu website and to attempts to bypass this limitation — sending is blocked through appropriate DNS records (messages would be sent from another server, but should be rejected by recipients according to the DNS configuration).

The virtual email inbox provided by the service does not allow sending email messages. This is because the creators want to prevent the sending of spam or other types of harmful or disruptive content to recipients. Therefore, there is no way to send a message from a temporary address.

A disposable email inbox is created quickly and automatically. It requires no user intervention or input of information that is necessary when setting up a traditional email account. At the same time, emails sent to you from the systems being tested will not accumulate in the inbox. If you wish, you can use the same virtual email address (temporary address) by setting a custom prefix for the address. Using this service for testing allows you to save time needed to create an inbox and manage traditionally created email accounts in other ways.

Yes. Simply use the "change address" option, enter your own name (login) in the form, and then click "create your own".

There is no fixed, let alone guaranteed, set of domains (and subdomains) used by the QuickAlias.eu service for generating temporary email addresses.

The available pool can change at any time — additional (sub)domains may appear, and previously available ones may disappear. Therefore, it is recommended not to rely too heavily on an alias (address), as it is still a temporary email address, not a traditional email service.

Yes. Simply share the webpage address (URL). Alternatively, you can give the username (the part before the @ in the address) to someone else, and they can use the "create your own" option (see one of the previous questions).

To use a temporary email address for creating accounts on services that require an email, simply generate an address by visiting QuickAlias.eu and enter the temporary email address obtained in the registration form on the website. If the site verifies the address, wait for the registration link and click it to complete the registration (confirm the email address). However, keep in mind that anyone who knows the username (temporary email address) can access messages sent to that address, so do not use a temporary address to create accounts on services that handle or may transmit sensitive/private data.

Although modern email inboxes are equipped with various filters designed to protect against spam, none of them are completely effective. It is difficult to automate the verification of whether a message is one we actually want to read, as the decision of whether content is valuable is subjective. By using a temporary email address, you can sign up for all kinds of suspicious newsletters. You can also download files or access necessary information on websites that require registration without being targeted by spam. This way, your personal email address, which you use daily, remains free from annoying spam, which is extremely important.

The message retention time in the QuickAlias.eu service is variable and dynamically adjusted according to service load to ensure optimal and stable performance. The current retention period is displayed on the website above the FAQ section (look for the blue frame). At any time, you can manually delete a selected message using the "delete" button located just below the message content. This option is conditionally active, so it may not be available at certain times. Remember, full access to messages - including those deleted from the service - is also available to the server/service administrators. So be polite :-)

Yes, on the QuickAlias.eu service, you can delete incoming messages to temporary email addresses yourself, making them no longer visible within the service. This applies both to your view of the message list and to other users who have the appropriate link. However, keep in mind that deleting a message does not mean all traces of it are gone. First, the email may still be available to the sender. Second, information about the message may still exist in our systems, including those related to overall security. So be polite :-)

Yes, you can save a selected message on your device using the "download" button located just below the message content, allowing you to access it anytime directly from your device. Of course, saving a message is only possible while it is still available in the user panel. This option is conditionally active, so it may not be available at certain times.

For security and also legal reasons, the QuickAlias.eu service does not process attachments from messages.

In the QuickAlias.eu service, the option to display images (graphics) in temporary email messages is conditionally active, so it may not be available at certain times.

Although using the service does not require you to provide any personal information, keep in mind that it is not fully anonymous, as that is not its purpose. Some information about your activity is recorded, for example in server logs, which may be made available upon request to authorized entities. Therefore, do not use the service for illegal activities. Additionally, anyone who knows the username (temporary email address) can access these messages, so do not use it to send sensitive or private data. Full access to messages — including those deleted from the service is also available to the server/service administrators. So be polite :-)
